Powered by a 4 Hp diesel engine and chain driven with a clutch for start /stop .  The total capacity of the mill is 245 litres and it will take about 100 litres of ore plus the steel balls and take around half an hour to crush it to powder.  Fitted with a sluice with expanded steel mesh over matting .
